The first two weeks of 2007 I pretty much did nothing, so I spent the last couple of weeks catching up. That doesn’t bother me, though - it’s pretty much how I live my life anyway. My motto is basically ‘Why put off till tomorrow what you can do next week’. It drives the people around me nuts but I always worked better under pressure anyway. Looking back on the first month of this year is actually pretty depressing because as much as I may think my life is interesting, it seems that upon closer inspection it’s just filled with all those day after day boring things that everyone has in their lives. Which may not make me normal (it would take more than that heheh), but it would sure put you to sleep if I decided to write about it. So I’ll spare you the gory details and just let you know I’m still alive. For now

Now I know it’s been a while, but even I was surprised at the amount of spam comments in here. Seems like everyone and his dog wants me to buy insurance, take a downer, then look at some naked people. 1. Lose the obligitory 10 lbs. Every year, it’s the same ones, I swear. But from Halloween to Thanksgiving to Christmas I just can’t deny myself, and I’m willing to put in the extra work it takes in order to indulge in all that good stuff. 2. Become Smoke Free!!

yep, I’m giving up the habit day after tomorrow, cold turkey. I’ve been mentally preparing for a while, and I’ve got my candies, mints and nicorette arranged around my desk already. So now that I’ve written it, I have to do it. This isn’t going to turn into an ‘I’m quitting smoking’ blog, but I may mention it once in a while

This year we started our shopping earlier, but it got kinda stalled. I guess we’re just so used to doing it at the last minute that actually being done early would collapse the universe. I wish I were the kind of person who has all their holiday shopping done by June…seeing as I hate the hordes of happy shoppers (didja catch the sarcasm there??) packing it in at the malls in Dec, you would think that would be the logical solution. But I’ve always done things at the last minute, it’s more exciting that way hehe.

This year we’re spending all of our begged, borrowed and financed cash on the kids of course. I always want to go crazy with gifts, getting all the big things that they want that seem to cost a fortune these days. Since we always seem to blow more than we should, hubby and I came up with our own little gift-giving tradition hehe. For the past few years, instead of buying each other gifts, we exchange sexual favors. It actually works out well, because there isn’t enough money to get what I really want in my stocking hehe. Hubby’s gonna kill me for that one

So this is the time of year when he starts getting all horned up, thinking about what special perve I’ll get on for him for ‘Sexmas Eve’ heheh. Since there’s not much time these days to get really kinky, this is really a big deal for us.
